I visited my good friend John today in hospital.
I have much to thank him for.
His cancer has returned, but the news isn't all bad. John holds a portrait I took of him in 2007 when he was diagnosed and operated on last time.
He 'marks' my contact sheet with his immutable style, this is how he feels today in 2009.
